MASTERS TOUCH ACADEMY

Straight answers, no sales pitch.

The questions parents and learners ask us most often. If yours is not here, send it on WhatsApp and you will get an honest answer, even when the answer is that we are not the right fit.

Getting started

How the first conversation works and what happens next.

Send us a WhatsApp message with your child grade, the subjects giving trouble, and where you are in Accra. We reply with a couple of questions and then arrange the free assessment. Most families go from first message to first lesson within a week.

We spend roughly an hour with your child working through questions at and slightly below their current grade, to find where understanding actually breaks. You receive our honest read afterwards, whether or not you continue with us.

Yes, and there is no obligation attached.

Usually within a few days of the assessment. If we cannot start quickly, we tell you that rather than keep you waiting quietly.

Adenta, Oyibi, Madina, Ashaley Botwe, Dodowa, Amrahia, Frafraha, Ogbojo and East Legon. Further out, online lessons work just as well.

Lessons and tutors

How teaching actually runs, week to week.

Lessons run one to two hours depending on age. Two sessions a week is the most common arrangement for a single problem subject.

We match on subject expertise, experience at that grade level, and temperament. We tell you who has been assigned and why before lessons begin.

Tell us and we reassign, without argument. A poor match is our mistake to correct.

Yes: worked examples, exercises and past questions appropriate to the grade and syllabus.

Short written feedback after each block of lessons: what improved, what is still weak, and what comes next.

At primary and JHS level, usually yes. At SHS and WASSCE level we normally assign specialists per subject.

Fees and payment

What things cost and how payment works.

Three things decide it: the grade level, how many subjects are involved, and whether lessons run at your home, online or at our centre. We do not publish a single rate because it would be wrong for almost everyone who read it. Send us those three details and you get a firm figure.

Mobile money is the simplest option for most families, and bank transfer is also available. You always know the amount before the lesson, never after it.

Regular weekly tutoring is arranged and paid for monthly. One off sessions and holiday intensives are paid as booked.

We quote on the whole family rather than adding up separate parts. Tell us everyone who needs help and we price it as one arrangement.

Give us reasonable notice and the lesson is rescheduled rather than lost. What we ask in return is that you tell us, rather than leaving a tutor waiting at your gate.

Exams and online lessons

Preparation, private candidates, and how remote teaching works.

A full academic year is the most comfortable path. Two terms still works well. Under a term becomes triage, and we are straight with you about what is achievable.

Yes, and they are a significant part of what we do.

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does.

For most learners from upper primary onwards, yes, provided the connection holds and the child has a quiet space.

A phone, tablet or laptop, a reasonable data connection, and somewhere quiet. Pen and paper matter more than the device.

Yes, online. Geography stops mattering the moment lessons move to video.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly. You will get a real answer from a person, usually within the hour.
